Gio’s square and Gio’s cube: the visual mathematics. We learn math through the colors, mosaics, plane numbers and space numbers with the help of Gio's square (plane ruler) and Gio's cube (space ruler) connecting arithmetic with geometry, to facilitate the study and understanding of mathematics for all children and anyone with learning difficulties

Plane geometry is that part of the geometry that describes everything that is part of the plane: points, lines, and angles. Arithmetic (from the Greek ἀριθμός = number) is the oldest branch of mathematics, the one that studies the elementary properties of arithmetic operations on numbers, especially integers. The analogical method of GIO’S SQUARE connects arithmetic with geometry and solves the problem of calculation by favoring the visual grasp of the number. This method, supported by various tools described in this paper, appears to be particularly suitable for solving the enormous problems that children suffering from dyscalculia have and in general for all those, and there are many in the world, who have serious problems in the study and understanding of mathematics.The 'transparent' GIO’S SQUARE, the plane ruler allows us to carry out various operations starting from the order of the objects teaches children how to orient themselves and manage space with the same method helps us to understand the operations with money. For example, placing the square of Gio 'on the figure and calculating the same squares that occupy the figure, we find the area.
